BACKGROUND
History
As
a Portland-based multimedia producer in the mid-1990s for Microsoft,
Intel, HP, Symantec and other leading technology companies, J.C.
Stites discovered that automated demonstrations (“autodemos”)
were the ideal way to market software applications.
At the time, no company was specializing in high-quality, cost-effective
demos that were convenient for the world's leading technology companies to implement.
J.C. started Autodemo in 1998 to meet this growing need. He continues to lead
the company as CEO and Executive Producer.
Company
With a unique development process that leverages the Internet, Autodemo develops
demos that clearly and concisely communicate the features and benefits of websites
and software applications. Autodemo is particularly sensitive to the time pressures
faced by its clients and specializes in creating demos in three weeks or less.
Autodemo's
most valuable assets are the developers, salespeople, producers
and writers who continue to help the company realize its mission
of being the leading developer of software and website demos.
The company is privately held and has experienced significant
year-over-year sales growth since its inception. Autodemo is
headquartered in J.C.'s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
